EGR Flow Insufficient Detected The EGR system is monitored during steady state driving conditions while the EGR is commanded on.
The test fails when the signal from the DPF EGR sensor indicates that EGR flow is less than the desired minimum. Vacuum supply EGR valve stuck closed EGR valve leaks vacuum EGR flow path restricted EGRVR circuit shorted to PWR VREF open to D.P.F. EGR sensor D.P.F. EGR sensor downstream hose off or plugged EGRVR circuit open to PCM VPWR open to EGRVR solenoid D.P.F. EGR sensor hoses both off D.P.F. EGR sensor hoses reversed Damaged EGR orifice tube Damaged EGRVR solenoid Damaged PCM Perform KOER self-test and look for DTC C0030 as an indication of a hard fault.

Circuit High Input codes like C0030 are mostly caused by defective alternators that develop excessive voltages, although there may be other causes as well, such as short circuits that 'leak' current into a particular system from other, unrelated systems that work on higher voltages. Note that in the case of short circuits that leak power into a control circuit, there is likely to be other, seemingly unrelated trouble codes present along with the code(s) being investigated. Diagnosing a 'high input' code will always involve a thorough testing of the charging system as a first step, followed by measures to isolate the system from all other possible sources of power during resistance, continuity, and reference voltage tests.

C0030 Error Code Repair Process :

If your vehicle failed a C0030 test and the C0030 Check Engine Light is NOT on, chances are you have a problem with the OBDII system, a burned out MIL lamp, or a faulty catalytic converter. The converter is essentially an afterburner that cleans up the exhaust after it exits the engine. The OBDII system uses decklid punch-out sensor battery short a ownstream oxygen sensor to monitor the efficiency of the converter, and it should detect a drop in converter efficiency if the converter has been contaminated or is failing (ignition misfiring, leaky exhaust valves, and oil burning can all damage the converter). What you want to look decklid punch-out sensor battery short: Any conditions that might cause ignition misfire, an overly rich or lean fuel condition, or loss of compression. Use your OBD Express DIY to look at the oxygen sensor outputs, coolant temperature, airflow, calculated engine load, and inlet air temperature.

Wrench Tool C0030 is a kind of Chassis Trouble Code

Diagnosing chassis noises can be one of the most frustrating problems technicians face. Fortunately, manufacturers have engineered noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) diagnostic techniques and equipment to find the source of the noise.

Common Causes of C0030

A common cause of code C0030 is the failure of Decklid Punch-Out Sensor Battery Short, but there are several other possible causes as well, such as ;
